As a freshman for Har-Ber, I primarily played JV, splitting time with my club teammate, Mitch LaMendola. I generally played in the field when I was not in goal (back or outside midfield). I did get to start one Varsity match in goal, and I dressed for most Varsity games. We have a very deep goalkeeping core at Har-Ber, which is unusual at most local high schools. The depth of our goalkeeping roster makes it very competitive to earn playing time. That is good for all of us. I am not at all hesitant about going into a college program where the competition for playing time is tough.
